Computer Amnesia

Yes, computers do lose their memory, and I fail to grasp out that fact completely. Our computer’s memory is corrupt; therefore I cannot use it for the next few days. What if there will be an urgent (school) task needed to tend to? (e.g thesis, journal, portfolio, etc.) It will be such a hassle without it. I don’t just need the computer for projects or so but I also need it for trivial stuffs, entertainment and the like. I am dismayed because someone who depends on their special gadget such as the computer can have a certain attachment on it – and once it is gone…it’s like a part of you is taken. So dramatic, but I feel that way. Why of all times, does it have lost its memory, now? Renting is expensive and a little time consuming, not to mention disturbing, like now it is. Argh. I just need it so badly.
